The best black mineral face mask

I have tried endless face masks to help keep my skin looking normal but I have sensitive skin and don’t seem to get on well with skin products. There are many of these skin / beauty companies like Juice Plus, Forever Living, Nuskin etc and I’m always skeptical using them – why? Well for me, it is because we don’t see them on the market, everything is always ‘inbox you’ or ‘messaged you’ when you enquire about the product and the sellers never post their own pictures.

I came across Avon’s Clearskin Black Mineral Mask whilst flicking through the brochure and thought, yep I’ll give this one a go for £2.25. That’s the best decision I’ve ever made when it comes to skin care. It doesn’t burn my skin, it smells fine and you can feel it working on your face.

When washing it off, my face feels like silk! I make the most of this everytime I use it because it’s normally oily. I often have orders for this product and it always gets rated highly so I’m happy enough to write a little post about it!

It seems like it’s got magic inside the liquid because you can see the pores on your face once dried. It is a jaw dropper believe me but well worth the investment. I just want to apologise for the picture below. I wanted to show my customers how it works and well I clearly can’t apply it well but look at those pores!!

As Vine would say ‘WHAT ARE THOSE?!’

First week as an Avon Rep

I have to say my first week as an Avon Representative has gone exceptionally well. My friends have been extremely supportive and have placed such large orders which has helped me reach over the HOV target. Thank you to you all!

Today was a little disheartening because every Avon brochure I picked up from a house, not one person ordered. I know it happens but it was just a little meh. Hopefully when I drop off more brochures to other houses I might receive an order even if it is £2.

I am really looking forward to kicking ass with this new venture and I have even gotten myself some stickers printed for my order forms. I got a little excited because I love stationery eeek.

If you would like to order from myself you can use my online shop and it will be delivered to your house either for free (a 4 mile radius from me) or to your house for a small charge. It’d be lovely if you could like my Facebook page!

Working for Avon

Today I have decided to become an Avon Representative again. I enjoyed doing it before and I’m sure I’ll enjoy it this time around. I was umming and arring whether to become a rep again as it is quite time-consuming for the profit that you make. This time however I will make it work, I am determined to really push the boat our with my new venture.

It is quite funny really, I don’t really wear make-up but when I do for nights out I am always wearing Avon’s products. I LOVE their make-up spray, it is fantastic by the way. There are still many products I need to try so I may end up doing beauty reviews – CRAZY I KNOW!

If you would like to receive a brochure from me or shop directly through my online website, please go ahead. Whether you’re living in Scotland or in Derby, you can order through me and get your items delivered to you at a small courier cost.

Spotmania- home remedy

So this is a rather embarrassing post for me because since changing my pill, my forehead is having its own party and my chin and cheeks have been invited as well. I kinda don’t want to point them out and scare people off but I have a boyfriend so you’re the ones missing out. Ha.

I always get compliments for not wearing make-up because one I can’t do it, two I can’t be arsed to go to the trouble, three it’s bloody expensive and four I love having a natural face. However, things have changed over the last few months (On really bad days I have to wear foundation or concealer) although I won’t wear make-up because I’m worried it’ll make my spots worse.

So I’ve been using my best friend Google and I came across some home remedies for spots and acne. The grand canyon currently situated on my forehead is extremely itchy which made me think it could be an allergic reaction to hair products. This course of action is to be taken before I go and visit my doctor because I might need to change my pill for the third time, yay me. I also have very oily skin and a fringe so this could add to the problem.

Here is the first one I’m going to try:

Cheers Google for this image 😉

What a life saver, thank you to the person that discovered lemons.

What do I do?

  1. Cut the lemon into slices, to be honest one is enough for your face.
  2. Wash your face with lukewarm water to make sure your pores are open and are ready for the acid!
  3. Take the slice of lemon and wipe it all over your face. Make sure you get enough lemon juice on the badly effected areas. Please note this will really sting.
  4. Once you’ve used as much as you can, do not rinse your face for twenty minutes.
  5. Wash your face and remove all the left over pieces of lemon. You’re finished!

Repeat twice a day.

I will be doing progress blog posts to see if it works. I really hope so.

Day 1 – before lemon

Excuse the eyebrows, I’m waiting for them to be waxed.

So after showing you my awful condition at the moment I really hope it works for you. If you decide to give this a go, please keep me informed as I’d love to hear other opinions on the process. Plus the end result!

If anyone has beauty products they would like me to try for this problem and then review them, get in touch xx
