Where do I start with this series? Marvel have out done themselves this time, I was completely hooked. I have never seen the film so I can’t comment on the similarities but this is one of my favourite series yet!
It starts off with Matt Murdoch’s (Charlie Cox) story of how he became blind and the relationship between him and Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson). A great pair of characters and I love the build up between them both. When they meet Karen Page (Deborah Woll) the story gets really interesting, she is one of my secret girl crushes. I am not a fan of reviewing things and giving everything away so I am keeping everything very basic so you go and watch.
Season one is intense, very intense due to the large characters within each episode. Once you are introduced to Wilson Fisk, you will never grow to dislike him – he is in control. Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk) is a fantastic actor, I love his body language when he’s acting and his facial expressions.

It is very well written and everything is consistent which is one thing I like in a series. The martial arts and filming is great, you really do see everything (sometimes a little too much) and get a feel of the pain and suffering the character endeavours. I think this is what keeps season one interesting because your eyes are darting everywhere and if it ends on a cliff hanger, you need to know what is next!!
Season two I finished quite quickly well as quick as I could anyway because I could not resist. I would say season two is a lot darker and you see much more blood (squeamish ah) and martial arts oh and death. You begin to learn a lot more about the characters and see their relationships differ, it hooks you, believe me. I love the connection between Daredevil and Elektra Natchios (Elodie Yung), it is the hottest love story.
One of the main characters in season two is a bad boy crush for me. I absolutely adore Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) in this, his voice is so darn hot and I could listen to him all day. His whole appearance throughout season two kept me addicted to the screen because you uncover more and more about Frank in each episode. His back ground story is sad and what he does is bad but his whole presence makes this season. Thanks to the writers that made him, you did good.
I could go on and on about how good Daredevil is but that means giving the story away and that is not happening on my blog. You will have to go somewhere else if you want to know spoilers as I hate it when someone does it to me.
